Agriculure site; Norther Plains Research Laboratory Kid's Site pages; Includes information on agriculture, Insects (even BUG RECIPES!), Lewis & Clark, and soils. There is also a photo and movie gallery.
Exploring Earth Sciences; This part of the Montana Bureau of Mines and Geology's site addresses some of the questions that inquisitive minds want to know about types of rocks and more. Includes games, projects, maps, coloring pages, and puzzles.
Flying Fish Kids' Gym --- They are specifically designed for kids 6 & under. Flying Fish provides children in Whitefish, Columbia Falls, Kalispell and surrounding areas with a fun, indoor activity where they can get exercise and make new friends. They offer gymnastics classes, open gym time, meetings for playgroups and preschools, and birthday parties. Classes are carefully structured to incorporate education in the areas of physical and social development. Children develop gross motor skills including strength, flexibility, coordination and balance. At the same time, social interaction in a class setting helps kids learn important concepts such as following instructions and taking turns--all important skills in preparation for school. Classes include music and games and are taught by qualified, supportive instructors.
