Billings, Montana --- Yellowstone Valley Bellydance Festival Gala Showcase (5th Annual).Saturday, August 18th, 2012. 7:00pm-9:30pm. Dancers travel from all across our area to attend this event, the largest festival in the region. On Saturday evening, they will showcase the many various cultural styles, music, and costumes of bellydance. This family-friendly showcase is a one-night-only opportunity to enter the world of belly dance with professional headliners April Rose and Michelle Joyce, as well as the bellydance community of Montana and the outlying regions.

Helena, Montana --- Open Studios Tour. Sat/Sun Sept. 22-23, 2012, noon-5:00 PM, Has been expanded to 2 days to accommodate the growing number of participating artists, and to give the public more opportunities to tour the studios. The Open Studios Tour invites the public to visit artists using a variety of artistic mediums at work in their studios and see their creative process. The Tour also gives the public an opportunity to purchase art directly from the participating artists.
